Hydrelo Dual Action

Ectoin, sodium hyaluronate.

Ingredients: Ectoin 0.5%, Sodium Hyaluronate 0.2%, Sodium Chloride, Water and Citrate Buffer.
HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS contains Ectoin and Hyaluronic Acid. Ectoin is a natural cell-protective molecule with inflammation-reducing and membrane-stabilizing properties. Hyaluronic Acid is commonly used in eye drops because of its high water-retaining properties and visco-dynamic properties to soothe dry eye.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is free of preservatives.

HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is intended to treat and prevent symptoms of dry and irritated eyes.
HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS moisten dry and irritated eyes.
HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is able to reduce and prevent burning and itching of dry and irritated eyes and can also be effective as preventive treatment.
HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS reduces further dehydration by stabilizing the lipid layer of the tear film.
Additionally, HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS protects ocular cells from hyperosmolarity and aids cell regeneration.
HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is suitable for wearers of contact lenses.

Always use HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS according to these instructions for use. Consult the healthcare provider or pharmacist before use if patient is not sure.
If not otherwise prescribed by the patient's healthcare provider, please apply 1-2 drops per eye, several times a day. Children 10 years of age and younger and patients unable to use HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS on own should be assisted during the application of HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS.
Before using HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS for the first time, tear off the protective seal from the bottle.
It is recommended to wash the hands before using HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS.
Remove the protective cap of the bottle and avoid any touching of the exposed tip.
Bend the head slightly backwards.
Hold the bottle upside down in one hand between the thumb and forefinger or index finger.
Please hold the bottle as vertical as possible.
Carefully open the eye by using thumb and forefinger of the other hand or gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch or pocket and look up.
Put the tip of the bottle close to the lower eyelid, but do not let it touch the eye.
Release one drop into the pouch or pocket formed between the eye and eyelid by gently squeezing the bottle.
Close the eye slowly to disperse the solution throughout the eye as good as possible.
Repeat the procedure on the other eye.
Carefully replace the protective cap after each usage of HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS.

If recommended by the doctor/healthcare professional HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS may be used after eye/ocular surgery and trauma.
HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS should not be used in the case of hypersensitivity to Ectoin or any of the other ingredients of the eye drops.
If allergic reactions occur, the use of HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS must be discontinued immediately.
To ensure safe hygiene, each eye drops bottle should only be used by one person.
Do not use for more than 3 months after opening.

Currently, there are no data available regarding the use of HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS during pregnancy and while breast-feeding.
Consult the healthcare provider or pharmacist for advice before using this eye drops, if the patient is: pregnant or breast-feeding; not sure whether pregnant or not.

HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS is well tolerated. Up to now, no regularly occurring or persisting side effects are known.
In isolated cases, HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS may provoke short term eye irritation, ocular hyperaemia, or conjunctivitis.
Please inform the healthcare provider or pharmacist if the patient notices side effects that are associated with the use of HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS.
If conditions persist or worsen, contact the healthcare provider or pharmacist.

There are no data available regarding interactions between HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS and other eye drops or topical eye ointments.
Please consult the healthcare provider or pharmacist if the patient is using HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS before applying any other eye drops into the eye.

HYDRELO DUAL ACTION LUBRICANT EYE DROPS should be stored between 2°C-25°C.
